dress The origin of the costume is ancient: the men's elegant costume, in traditional black and red, was influenced by the uniform worn by the napoleonic armies when crossingthe Aosta Valley. The women's costume is similar to the one worn on festive occasions: heavy hand wowen wool, hand-made lace, gaily coloured silk aprons and jewels. |
